Uncover the History of Medellín

The tour begins at San Antonio Park, where participants gather before starting an exploration of some of the darkest chapters in Medellín's history. The city served as the epicentre of the armed conflict, leading to substantial loss of life. Nevertheless, it also demonstrates how peace can be fostered through collective actions during the transition and post-conflict periods.

Throughout the tour, participants will navigate the streets of Medellín to learn about the various attacks and significant political movements in the area. The tour will cover the impact of the Medellín Cartel and its legacy in detail.

Additionally, discussions will include motivations of individuals and institutions operating in this war context, as well as their contributions during the aftermath of the conflict. The tour aims to provide insight into how the community has worked to overcome its past and move towards a hopeful future.

The tour concludes approximately two and a half hours after its start, summarizing the journey through Medellín's history and resilience.
