Guatapé Day Trip

Meet at your chosen location at the indicated time. Depart Medellín towards Guatapé, a two and a half hour journey through the mountainous landscapes of eastern Antioquia. A stop for breakfast will include two options and a vegetarian choice with a drink. Proceed to Piedra de El Peñol, where you will have an hour and a half of free time to climb 740 steps for panoramic views of the Peñol Reservoir.

After, enjoy a full traditional lunch at a nearby restaurant with three dish options. A 40-minute rumbero boat ride on the Peñol reservoir follows, buoyed by music and a festive atmosphere.

The day concludes with a guided walking tour of Guatapé, exploring landmarks like the Church of Our Lady of Carmen and Plaza de los Zócalos. Enjoy an additional hour of free time before returning to Medellín after a 12-hour excursion.

Lunch

Lunch includes three options:

Menu 1: rice, salad, potatoes, patacón, and trout.Menu 2: similar to Menu 1, with grilled chicken instead of trout.Menu 3: bandeja paisa.

A vegetarian menu is available upon request on tour day, featuring bean soup, rice, salad, patacón, eggs, avocado, and arepas. All dishes come with aguapanela (sugarcane water with lemon).

Children under 4 years old can join for free. There is an insurance charge of 1.50EUR per child.
