On this day trip from Medellín, we'll discover Jericó, a typical Antioquian village. Walk among colourful houses and learn about the home of Laura Montoya.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at your chosen meeting point. We will travel 2.5 hours from Medellín to Jericó along mountain roads. This village is recognized as one of Colombia's Pueblo Patrimonios, or heritage towns.

Our first stop will be at Cerro El Salvador, where you can enjoy the panoramic views and the natural landscape.

Next, we will visit the house where Saint Laura Montoya Upegui was born in 1874. This site attracts both locals and tourists interested in her contributions to the indigenous communities of the Urabá jungle.

We will pause for a delicious lunch featuring traditional Colombian cuisine.

After lunch, we will tour the Museo de Antropología y Artes de Jericó Antioquia to learn about the area's culture and history. This concludes our visit before returning to the starting point after 8 hours.
