Our journey starts with pickup from your Boca del Rio hotel, heading to La Antigua, known as the first European village in the New World, located along the Huitzilapan River.
La Antigua is 30 km from Boca del Rio. Highlights include Casa del Cabildo, the Chapel of the Rosary, and the famous La Ceiba.
Next, visit San Juan de Ulua, a historic fortress that played a role in protecting against pirates and holding key figures from Mexican Independence and Revolution. It is one of the oldest forts in the Americas.
The trip concludes with a panoramic tour of Veracruz. Notable sights include the Antigua Aduana Marítima, the historic center, the Malecón promenade, and the Baluarte de Santiago.
