Comuna 13 Street Art Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet along the Parque el Poblado to start our street art tour of Medellin and discover the most colorful side of the city aboard a van decorated with graffiti (graffivan).

We will visit Comuna 13, previously deemed one of the most dangerous areas of Medellin. On this tour, you'll see how urban art has transformed the commune's drug trafficking and criminal past.

The first stop will be in an area where artists perform improvisations on cultural and current affairs. Following this, we will view the graffiti on Colombia's first escalators, the longest in a neighborhood globally, with six sections.

Throughout the tour, we will explore the narratives behind this street art, focusing on messages of hope and a bright future for Medellin and peace from Comuna 13 to the world.

Before concluding, we will visit the Casa de Neón, an experience with paint and light, ideal for photography.

The tour lasts for 4 hours before we return to the initial meeting point.
