Route Options
During the booking process, you can choose from the following route options:
Tour at 12 noon
This culinary route will start at El Dorado Park in San Andresito de Envigado. We will visit the Main Park for chorizos santarrosanos, followed by a fritter and an empanada, while learning about Medellin's history and its main dishes. The tour will continue through Envigado, tasting pan de bonos and mango biche drink, then going to Pájaro Loco for a beer and a plantain with cheese.
After a 3-hour tour, we will end at the Casa del Filósofo Fernando González Ochoa.
Tour at 5 pm
This tour will begin in front of the San José de Ayacucho Church. We will start with buñuelos and empanadas, then head to the Ayacucho area for an arepa boyacense and choclo, discussing the gastronomy of Medellín and city history. The tour will include a visit to a local bar for a cold beer and then a Metrocable ride to sample chorizo or chuzo after a 3-hour duration.
Tour at 7 pm
Beginning in front of San José church, this tour explores El Poblado for the best street food vendors. We will stop at four locations to taste arepas, empanadas, cheese sticks, and Colombian hot dogs. The tour also includes visits to panoramic terraces for views of Medellín and cool drinks.
This tour lasts two-and-a-half hours and concludes back at the starting point.
