Naolinco Franciscan Route Trip

Pickup at your hotel in Boca del Rio is between 8 am and 8:20 am. From there, we head into the green landscapes of the Sierra de Naolinco mountain range, enjoying views from the minibus.

Along the way, we make stops to visit the Xalapa Fortress and the ruins of an old abandoned church.

We will arrive at the village named after the Sierra de Naolinco for a guided tour, visiting essential landmarks like the church of San Mateo Apóstol and the Casa de la Cultura.

After a one-hour break to eat at a traditional restaurant in the village, featuring a cuisine that blends traditional Mexican flavors with colonial influences, we head to the Naolinco Market. Here, you will encounter the leather handicrafts this town is known for, with the opportunity to purchase souvenirs.

After the market visit, we return to your hotel in Boca del Río, arriving around 6 pm.
