Naolinco Franciscan Route Trip

Pickup from your hotel in Boca del Río will be between 8 am and 8:20 am. The journey takes you through the lush landscapes of the Sierra de Naolinco mountain range, providing stunning views from the minibus.

Stops will be made along the route, including the Xalapa Fortress and the ruins of an old abandoned church.

Upon arrival at the village named after the Sierra de Naolinco, a guided tour will take you to key landmarks such as the church of San Mateo Apóstol and the Casa de la Cultura.

A one-hour break will follow, allowing you to dine at one of the traditional restaurants in the village, known for its cuisine that blends traditional Mexican and colonial influences.

After lunch, visit the Naolinco Market to explore the town’s renowned leather handicrafts. You will have the opportunity to learn about the crafting process and purchase souvenirs.

Following the market visit, we will return to your hotel in Boca del Río, arriving around 6 pm.
