Day Trip to Orizaba & Coscomatepec

Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Boca del Río, scheduled between 8:00 am and 8:20 am, as we set forth towards two of Veracruz's Pueblos Mágicos, or Magical Towns.

Our first destination is Orizaba, where we will visit the renowned Palacio de Hierro, an art nouveau masterpiece from the 19th century. Following this, a scenic cable car ride will take us up to Cerro del Borrego, offering breathtaking panoramas of the town and its lush tropical surroundings.

Continuing our adventure, we will make our way to Coscomatepec. As we approach, the majestic Citlaltépetl Volcano will come into view. Once in town, we will explore the Church of San Juan Bautista, home to a unique replica of the Christ of the Agony, one of only three in the globe.

We will also stroll through the Parque de la Constitución and admire the Palacio Municipal, a classic colonial structure that captivates all who see it. Additionally, we have the opportunity to explore a local bakery for a taste of traditional flavors.

Afterward, you will enjoy a leisurely break of two hours for lunch on your own. Finally, we will return to Boca del Río, with an expected arrival at your hotel between 7:00 pm and 7:20 pm.
