Orizaba & Coscomatepec Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 am and 8:20 am, we'll set off for two of the Pueblos Mágicos of Veracruz.

First, we'll arrive in Orizaba, where we'll visit the Palacio de Hierro, a 19th century art nouveau-inspired building. Afterwards, we'll take a cable car to Cerro del Borrego hill for views of the town and surrounding tropical forests.

Next, we'll head to Coscomatepec, where we'll see the Citlaltépetl Volcano as we approach the town. In Coscomatepec, we'll visit the Church of San Juan Bautista, home to a replica of the Christ of the Agony. This is one of only three replicas worldwide.

We'll also visit the Parque de la Constitución and the historic Palacio Municipal. Additionally, there will be a stop at a traditional bakery.

You will have two hours of free time for lunch. Finally, we'll return to Boca del Río, arriving at your hotel between 7 pm and 7:20 pm.
