Orizaba & Coscomatepec Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 am and 8:20 am, we'll set off for two of the Pueblos Mágicos, or Magical Towns of Veracruz.

First, we'll arrive in Orizaba, where we'll visit the Palacio de Hierro, a 19th century building. Afterwards, we'll take a cable car up to the Cerro del Borrego hill for views of the town and the tropical forests.

Next, we will head to Coscomatepec, where we will see the Citlaltépetl Volcano. In Coscomatepec, we’ll visit the Church of San Juan Bautista, which features one of only three replicas of the Christ of the Agony in the world.

We will also see the Parque de la Constitución and the Palacio Municipal, a historic colonial building. A visit to a traditional bakery is also included.

You will have two hours of free time for lunch. We will then return to Boca del Río, arriving at your hotel between 7 pm and 7:20 pm.
