Orizaba & Coscomatepec Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 am and 8:20 am, we'll travel to two of the Pueblos Mágicos of Veracruz.

First, we'll arrive in Orizaba, where we'll visit the Palacio de Hierro, a 19th century art nouveau-inspired building. Afterwards, we'll take a cable car up to the Cerro del Borrego hill for views of the town and surrounding dense tropical forests.

Next, we will head to Coscomatepec. As we approach, we will see the Citlaltépetl Volcano. In town, we will visit the Church of San Juan Bautista, home to a unique image of the Christ of the Agony, one of only three replicas worldwide.

Then we will view the Parque de la Constitución and the Palacio Municipal, a historic colonial building. We will also visit a traditional bakery.

You will have two hours of free time for lunch. Finally, we will return to Boca del Río, arriving at your hotel between 7 pm and 7:20 pm.
