Experience an unforgettable rafting journey along the Claro River, where the stunning jungle landscape of Antioquia awaits to amaze you.
Description
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Medellín hotel, followed by a scenic drive to San Luis, our starting point for the thrilling excursion.
Upon reaching Central Park in the Antioquian District, we will transition into a robust off-road vehicle, which will take us to the river launch site.
We will kick off the experience with essential safety briefings, ensuring all participants are fitted with helmets, life jackets, and necessary equipment. Once prepared, we will set off on an exhilarating rafting journey down the Claro River, tackling its exciting whitewater rapids on our sturdy rafts.
During approximately 4 hours on the water, we will cover a distance of 7 kilometers (4.3 miles), facing thrilling Class I rapids and enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding Anioquian jungle.
As we paddle towards the river banks, we will pause for a revitalizing picnic lunch amidst the natural beauty, featuring a variety of cold cuts and fresh fruit. Once we've recharged, we will make our way back to San Luis in the off-road vehicle.
From San Luis, we will assist you in changing vehicles for the return journey to your hotel in Medellín after approximately 10 hours of adventure.
