Rafting the Santo Domingo River

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Medellín to travel to Cocorná and start the rafting adventure. After arrival, we will hike to the rafting launch point along the Santo Domingo River, known for its calm current, making it suitable for beginner rafters.

Following a brief introduction, we will equip you with helmets, life jackets, and necessary gear. After preparation, we'll board the rafts and paddle along a 3-kilometer (1.8 miles) section of the river for about one hour, navigating class I and II rapids.

Throughout the tour, you'll experience the landscapes of Antioquia's jungle, filled with rivers and natural beauty. We will pause for a picnic lunch during the journey and afterward return to the meeting point in Cocorná.

If you choose the transport option, we'll bring you back to your hotel in Medellín approximately 6 hours after pickup.
