Description
In this Sugarloaf Hill trekking route, we will meet at the Arví Metrocable Station at the designated time to enjoy a cup of tea before starting. Our first destination is the Carabineros Fort, where we will explore its historical significance.
The trek to Sugarloaf Hill includes stops at key points, such as the Llave de Piedra, a monument related to the conquest of the Arví Valley by the Spaniards. As we hike, the setting sun will enhance the scenery. The trail will become rockier and more challenging as we progress. We will visit two viewpoints for nighttime photographs of Santa Elena and reach the Alto de Mora, learning about its connection to the brewing industry in Medellín.
At the summit of Sugarloaf Hill, there will be time to take pictures and explore the surroundings under a star-studded sky. Our descent will feature stops at the Trece de Noviembre Metrocable Station and a visit to nearby archaeological remains. The total duration of the tour is 6 hours, concluding at the starting point.
