Tour Details

Welcome to the East End of Melbourne! At the indicated time, we'll meet at Federation Square and start our route around one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Melbourne. Ready?

We'll learn about iconic parts of the city, including the secrets of Federation Square, the Yarra River, and the impressive St. Paul's Cathedral, the only neogothic building in the heart of Melbourne.

Next, we'll head to the East End, crossing AC/DC Lane, a street honoring the mythical rock group. Melbourne played a significant role in their fame. From here, we'll continue to the bustling Degraves Street, known for its lively bars.

Our next stop will be the town hall, notable for its architecture. We'll visit the Block Arcade and Royal Arcade, top spots to experience Victorian times.

Afterwards, we'll proceed down Bourke Street to Chinatown, a key area for Chinese culture in Australia. Nearby is the State Library Victoria, the oldest public library in the country and one of the first free libraries in the world.

Finally, we'll reach the City Baths and Queen Victoria Market, important locations in the East End.

After 2 hours of exploring, we'll return to the initial meeting point and conclude the tour.
