On the day of the tour, we'll meet at the central pickup spot on the corner of Market and Flinders Streets by the Immigration Museum. The tour begins in Melbourne's vibrant city center, covering the city's rich culture, scenic gardens, iconic architecture, and famous laneways.
The tour will commence along Collins Street's "Paris End," featuring high-end boutiques and historic buildings such as St. Michael’s and Scots’ Church. Next, we will visit Hosier Lane for its street art, followed by landmarks including Flinders Street Station, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Federation Square.
We’ll proceed through the Arts Precinct to the Shrine of Remembrance, with views over the city skyline. Passing through the Sports Precinct, notable sites like Melbourne Park and Rod Laver Arena will be seen, along with a pause at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) Forecourt.
Further along, historic sites such as the Old Treasury Building, Parliament House, and St Patrick’s Cathedral will be explored. At Fitzroy Gardens, see Cook’s Cottage and the Conservatory. The tour also includes a pass by the Little Lon Distilling Co.
The tour wraps up in Melbourne’s historic quarter at the Old Melbourne Gaol, known for its 133 hangings, including that of Ned Kelly. Finally, we will drive past Lygon Street, the Royal Exhibition Building, and Queen Victoria Market. The tour lasts a total of 3 and a half hours, returning to the starting point.
