Description
Located in the north of the island of Malta, in Mellie?a, Popeye Village is a theme park that allows visitors to explore the universe of this popular cartoon and comic book character. This entrance ticket grants access to one of Malta's most famous tourist attractions, a film set full of surprises. The movie Popeye was filmed here, released by Disney in 1980, featuring Robin Williams as the titular character.
The park features colorful houses that recreate a traditional fishing village, wooden bridges, and small boats, designed to bring the village of Sweethaven to life. During your visit, there are several shows starring Olivia, Popeye, Wimpy, Bluto, and other familiar characters.
