Explore the breathtaking Andean scenery of the Aconcagua Provincial Park on this journey from Mendoza, delving into the stunning natural expanse that lies between Argentina and Chile.

Trip Overview

At the arranged time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Mendoza and begin our drive eastward along the National Route 7 toward the captivating border region with Chile.

During the enjoyable three-hour journey, you can savor traditional pancakes paired with a delightful beverage, with choices including mate, coffee, or tea. Our route will lead us through the charming Andean village of Cacheuta, offering views of the Potrerillos Reservoir and the Cordón del Plata mountain range.

The adventure continues as we pass through the towns of Uspallata and Horcones, ultimately arriving at the Puente del Inca to uncover the tale behind this iconic landmark. From there, we proceed to the Aconcagua Provincial Park Visitors' Center, where we will disembark the vehicle.

Next, we embark on a leisurely 2.5-hour trek, ascending to an elevation of 10,000 feet above sea level. Throughout the hike, you will discover stunning sights such as the Horcones Lagoon and the Quebrada del Durazno Bridge. At this picturesque spot, we will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring Carne Criolla empanadas, fresh fruits, alfajores, assorted sweets, and local Mendoza wine.

After our meal, we will retrace our steps to the visitor's center, where we will board the bus once more and return to your hotel in Mendoza, concluding our excursion approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.
