Witness the awe-inspiring Andean landscapes of the Aconcagua Provincial Park on this trip from Mendoza and see the rich wilderness between Argentina and Chile!

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza before driving east along the National Route 7 towards the border area with Chile.

During a three-hour drive, we will serve traditional pancakes and a choice of mate, coffee, or tea. We will pass through the Andean village of Cacheuta and see the Potrerillos Reservoir and the Cordón del Plata mountain range.

The excursion continues through the villages of Uspallata and Horcones until we reach the Puente del Inca, where we will learn about this monument. After this, we will head to the Aconcagua Provincial Park Visitors' Center.

We will embark on an easy 2.5-hour trek to 10,000 ft above sea level. Along the route, we will see the Horcones Lagoon and the Quebrada del Durazno Bridge. At this point, we will have a picnic lunch including Carne Criolla empanadas, fruits, alfajores, sweets, and wine from Mendoza.

Afterward, we will return to the visitor's center, board the bus, and head back to the hotel in Mendoza, arriving approximately 10 hours after pickup.
