Andes Crossing & Santiago de Chile Private Day Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza and drive west towards the Andes Mountains. We will cross the valleys of Potrerillos and Uspallata along the way.
The route continues through the Andes Crossing via the Punta de Vacas pass. We'll stop at a viewpoint to contemplate the Tupungato volcano and another viewpoint to admire Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America at 6962 meters.
Next, we will visit the Puente del Inca Natural Monument and then head to Las Cuevas. Nearby is the tunnel of Christ the Redeemer of the Andes, providing access from Argentina to Chile.
Upon entering Chile, we'll cross the Portillo road, where we will see the Inca Lagoon. We will proceed along the highway by the Aconcagua River to the town of Los Andes, where you'll have an hour for lunch to enjoy Chilean cuisine.
Following lunch, we will drive to Santiago de Chile for a short panoramic tour of the city. We will return to Mendoza with an arrival at your hotel scheduled for 8 pm.
Pick up
The tour includes pick up and transfer back to hotels in central Mendoza. For those in remote areas, pick up will be at Paseo Sarmiento, 129.
