Join us on a trek to Las Veguitas, a mountain camp in the Cordón del Plata Provincial Park, an essential part of your holiday in Mendoza.

Cordon del Plata Hike to Veguitas Camp

We will pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza at 8:30 am and travel through the eastern Andes via National Route 7, passing Cacheuta and Potrerillos reservoir, where you will enjoy pancakes from Mendoza and an infusion.

We will arrive at Cordón del Plata Provincial Park, parking next to the Vallecitos ski station to begin our trek through the Andean landscapes. The first part lasts two hours, leading to Las Veguitas campsite at 10,500 feet above sea level.

At the camp, a gourmet picnic awaits, featuring carne criolla empanadas, Mendoza wine, fruit, alfajores, and sweets. After lunch, we will embark on another two-hour hike to explore the local wildlife.

This hike concludes in Vallecitos. We will then return by road to your hotel in Mendoza, arriving at 3:30 pm.
