Be amazed by the beautiful Andean landscapes of the province of Mendoza with this fantastic trek to El Salto waterfall. This is an unmissable adventure for your holiday in Argentina.

El Salto Waterfall Hike

We will pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza between 7:10 am and 7:30 am and set off for El Salto. On the way, we will pass through the Andean villages of Cacheuta and Potrerillos, surrounded by the Cordón de Plata mountains.

During the journey, we will have a snack on board the vehicle that includes traditional pancakes from Mendoza and a choice of infusion: mate, coffee, or tea.

Upon arrival in El Salto, we will start a six-hour hike to one of the region's waterfalls. The moderately difficult route reaches an altitude of 9000 ft above sea level and features a zigzag path among rocks, leading to a panoramic viewpoint of the El Salto waterfall. In winter, an icy glacier-shaped pyramid may form at the foot of the waterfall.

We will take a break to enjoy the surroundings, observe condors in midflight, and have a picnic lunch that includes sandwiches or empanadas, fresh fruit and nuts, alfajores, a cereal bar, candy, and an infusion.

After the snack, we will return on foot to the starting point, and from there, we will take you back to your hotel in Mendoza, arriving at 6 pm.

Pickup in Mendoza
