On our private day trip from Mendoza, you'll discover the nature and history of this Argentine city. You'll visit iconic places in the city and explore Zonda Gorge and Tulum Valley.

San Juan Private Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and drive to San Juan, the capital of the province. Our tour will start with a visit to the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a significant 19th-century ruler. Next, we'll stop at the Juan Victoria Auditorium, home to the Escuela Superior de Música.

We'll then visit the San Juan Museum of Natural Sciences, which has an exhibition of dinosaur fossils from Ischigualasto Provincial Park, a site with notable palaeontological heritage. After the museum, we'll go to 25 de Mayo Square to visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, inaugurated in 1979.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch in central San Juan. Afterward, we will visit the outskirts to explore Zonda Gorge, where we'll see the Eduardo Copello racing circuit and the Garden of Poets. We will admire sculptures of prominent poets during our visit.

Our tour will conclude in Tulum Valley, at Merced del Estero, a well-known winery. We will tour its vineyards and learn about its unique vines, before returning to your hotel in Mendoza by 9 pm.

This day trip includes pickup and drop off from hotels in central Mendoza. If you are in a more remote location, pickup will be from Paseo Sarmiento, 129.
