San Juan Private Day Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and drive to San Juan, the capital of the province. The tour will start at the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a notable 19th-century ruler of San Juan, followed by a visit to the Juan Victoria Auditorium, home to the Escuela Superior de Música.
We will continue to the San Juan Museum of Natural Sciences, which features a notable collection of dinosaur fossils from Ischigualasto Provincial Park. After exploring the museum, we will visit the 25 de Mayo Square and the modern Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, inaugurated in 1979.
You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch in San Juan's center. Following lunch, we will explore Zonda Gorge, view the Eduardo Copello racing circuit, and walk through the Garden of Poets, admiring sculptures of prominent poets.
The tour concludes in Tulum Valley with a visit to the Merced del Estero winery, where you will tour the vineyards and learn about their unique vines. We will return to your hotel in Mendoza by 9 pm.
