On our private day trip from Mendoza, you'll discover the nature and history of this Argentine city, visiting iconic places and exploring the Zonda Gorge and the Tulum Valley.

San Juan Private Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and drive to San Juan, the capital of the province. The tour begins with a visit to the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, followed by the Juan Victoria Auditorium, home to the Escuela Superior de Música.

Next, we'll visit the San Juan Museum of Natural Sciences, featuring dinosaur fossils from the Ischigualasto Provincial Park. Afterward, we'll head to 25 de Mayo Square and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, inaugurated in 1979.

You'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch in central San Juan. Post-lunch, we’ll explore the Zonda Gorge, including the Eduardo Copello racing circuit and the Garden of Poets, where we will admire sculptures of notable poets.

We'll conclude our tour with a stop in the Tulum Valley at the Merced del Estero, one of San Juan's famous wineries, where we'll tour the vineyards. We aim to return to your hotel in Mendoza by 9 pm.
