Enjoy the fauna of Costa Rica in this bird and sloth-watching activity in San José. We'll walk through urban forests to check out the animals that live there and learn interesting facts about the species we see.

San José Sloth & Birdwatching

At the time of your choice, we'll meet on Calle La Cruz to start a tour that will allow us to enjoy the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. During the activity, we'll visit two urban parks to see the birds and sloths that live there.

We'll spend one hour touring the first of the forests, where we'll observe the dozens of birds that inhabit this area. A spotting scope will be used for a closer look at more hidden animals.

We'll discuss the different birds and talk about the insects and tropical flowers in San José.

Next, we'll proceed to the second park, part of the University of Costa Rica, where we will spot several sloths and learn about their slow metabolism and other facts.

After two and a half hours of exploration, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.
