Immerse yourself in the culture of the Mayans with this trip to Chichen Itzá. At night, you'll enjoy a light and sound show above the Kukulkán Pyramid.
Description
At the time indicated, we'll collect you from your hotel in Mérida. After 2.5 hours by minibus, we'll arrive at the Chichen Itzá archaeological site.
Although the monuments of the Maya city, a World Heritage Site, are closed at night, we'll see "The Castle" from outside. This impressive pyramid was once the centre of religious life in Chichen Itzá. The details of the gods it was dedicated to will be explored during the tour.
Following this, we'll enjoy the "Kukulkán Nights" show. In the night, we will observe 3-D projections above the Kukulkán Pyramid that will present elements of Mayan culture through displays of light and sound.
We'll return to the hotel in Mérida late that night.
