Day Trip Details
We will pick you up at the designated time at Paseo 60 in the center of Mérida and depart for the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá, located 1 hour and 40 minutes from Mérida.
Upon arrival, a guided tour of 1 hour will take you through the archaeological site. You will see the pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulkán, known as El Castillo. Your professional guide will reveal the temple's significance to the religious life of Chichén Itzá.
You will also visit the Temple of the Warriors, a pyramid surrounded by columns depicting war scenes, and other notable structures including El Osario and the El Caracol observatory, showcasing Mayan astronomical knowledge. Following this, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore and take photographs.
Afterward, we will travel to the Xcajum Cenote for 2 hours, providing time to swim in its clear waters. It is recommended to bring a bathing suit and towel. A buffet-style lunch featuring regional food, such as roast chicken or pork, rice, beans, and handmade tortillas will be served.
Finally, we will return to Mérida, concluding the experience 9 to 10 hours after departure.
