Description
At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mérida to start this excursion to Izamal and Motul.
We will first head to the town of Motul. Upon arrival, we will stop at the local market to taste the traditional eggs from Motul.

We will then travel southeast to the magical town of Izamal, known as the Golden City of Yucatan, painted yellow in 1993 for the visit of John Paul II. We will explore its colonial houses from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries and visit the monastery of San Antonio de Padua, built with stones from a Mayan pyramid.
