Description
We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Mérida and depart for a trip to Campeche and Hampolol. Our first stop is Hampolol, specifically at Cenote Peba, a natural site featuring unique waters emerging from limestone rocks.
We will then proceed to Ciudad de Campeche to explore the era of privateers in Mexico. The itinerary includes visits to San José el Alto and San Miguel Fort and Museum, where we will review the historical events impacting the region and the city’s defenses against pirate attacks. Visitors will have the chance to observe the fortifications and take in views of Campeche.
In the historic center of Campeche, there will be free time to sample local food, appreciate colonial architecture, and walk along the cobblestone streets. Participants can also enjoy a sunset on the boardwalk, offering views of the Gulf of Mexico.
The tour concludes after 10 hours, returning to Mérida.
