Are you in Mérida and passionate about history? Then don't miss the famous Puuc Route! Here, we'll visit some of the most important archaeological areas in Yucatán.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Mérida to begin our trip along the famous and mysterious Puuc Route. The word "Puuc" means mountain or hill. On this tour, we'll explore the archaeological jewels of the Maya civilization in the Yucateca region.

The first stop will be at Labná, an ancient Maya city known for its stone carvings. Next, we'll travel to Kabah, Sayil, and Xlapak, additional archaeological sites on the Puuc Route. During the journey, we'll explain the details of their structures and discuss Maya architecture and its symbolism.

We'll continue our tour in the majestic city of Uxmal, one of the most important Maya archaeological sites in Mexico. There, you'll admire the Soothsayer's Pyramid, the Governor's Palace, and other constructions that reflect the rich history of this ancient civilization.

Halfway through the tour, we'll stop to enjoy a Yucateca lunch at a local restaurant. After the meal, we'll return to Mérida, where the trip will conclude.
