Sierras de Comechingones Trip

At 7:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Villa de Merlo and drive to the outskirts of the city, where the Mogote Bayo Provincial Natural Reserve is located. A stop at the sun viewpoint will provide panoramic views of the area.

Next, we will head to the Sierras de Comechingones, a steep mountain range between San Luis and Córdoba. Here, we will explore the diverse fauna and flora as we travel along the slopes known as Sierras Pampeanas.

We will continue to a height of 7500 feet above sea level, offering views of the Conlara Valley. During this part of the journey, we will share insights about the Argentinean ethnic groups of the Hinia and Kamîare, known historically as "comechingones."

Our exploration will include a short trek along one of the main trails, providing knowledge about the area's geology, marked by enormous valleys and watercourses.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Villa de Merlo, arriving at 11:30 am.
