We will proceed to the Church of the Santissima Annunziata dei Catalani, showcasing Arab, Roman, and Byzantine architectural influences, built over the ruins of a temple dedicated to Neptune.

As Messina is renowned for its cannoli, participants will enjoy a tasting of these pastries at a local bakery.

Next, we will visit Piazza del Duomo to appreciate the 12th-century cathedral architecture, featuring the ornamental clock tower, a key attraction in Messina.
