Excursion to Taormina & Isola Bella

At your selected time, we will gather at Via I Settembre in Messina. Following this, we will board a bus for a brief 50-minute ride to Taormina.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a journey through this gem of the Sicilian coastline, discovering intriguing historical tales. Our two-hour guided tour will take you through the historic center, showcasing how the influences of Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Greeks have shaped this vibrant city.

You will encounter the historic city gates of Catania and Messina, remnants of the town's fortifications. As we stroll along Corso Umberto I, numerous churches and palatial structures will come into view, including the understated facade of the St. Nicholas Cathedral dating back to the 13th century.

After this enriching exploration, you will enjoy an hour of leisure time to relax. Following this, we will embark on a boat to behold one of Taormina’s most stunning coastal vistas.

For two hours, we will sail the picturesque Ionian Sea, admiring Isola Bella, a captivating isle that sometimes transforms into a peninsula—a truly remarkable sight!

After concluding our boat trip, we will gather back at the bus and make our way back to Messina, rounding off an exhilarating seven-hour excursion.
