Art, culture, architecture and amazing landscapes await you in this excursion to Milazzo and Tindari. A fascinating journey through Sicilian history!

Tindari & Milazzo Excursion

At the time of your choice, we'll meet you on Via I Settembre for a journey to the city of Tindari, enjoying views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands.

After about an hour's drive, our first stop will be a viewpoint to admire the scenery of the Nebrodi Mountains.

Next, we'll visit the Sanctuary of Tindari, home to the Black Madonna, carved in Constantinople over ten centuries ago, attracting thousands of pilgrims annually.

After exploring the temple, we will proceed to the archaeological ruins of Tindari, featuring a well-preserved Greek theater, ancient walls, Roman mosaics, and a basilica from the 4th century B.C. Our guide will share insights about the foundation of the ancient city of Tyndaris.

Then, we will travel an hour to Milazzo. Upon arrival, we will explore the historic center and the Castello di Milazzo, which has been remodeled by various cultures.

Following our activities, we will return to the minibus and conclude the excursion after seven hours with our arrival back in Messina.
