Meteora Sunset Hike

On our Meteora Sunset Hike, you'll learn about the history and legends of its monasteries, discover lesser-known caves and chapels, and admire a sunset.

Meteora Sunset Hike

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Meteora, home to a group of Eastern Orthodox monasteries established since the 14th century. Meteora is a World Heritage Site due to its significant history and stunning rock formations.

Upon arrival, we will begin a hike to explore Meteora's secret caves. You will visit sites less known to tourists, such as the monks' prison and the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, along with various hermits' caves among the rock formations.

Throughout the hike, we will discuss the history and legends surrounding Meteora and take in the views of the monastic complex.

During the last part of our hike, we will pause at a viewpoint to enjoy a sunset in Meteora. Please bring your camera.

After 4 hours of hiking and scenery, we will return you to your hotel.
