Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at 1600 SW 8th Street in Miami, where we'll start a walking tour of Little Havana. You'll explore this hub of Cuban culture and one of Miami's most popular neighborhoods.
First, we'll visit the Bay of Pigs Monument in the city center to learn about the 1,300 soldiers who died in the 1963 effort to free Cuba from dictatorial rule.
Next, we'll walk to the Ball & Chain bar, a historic club from the 1930s known for music events and fresh mojitos.
Then, we'll head to the Cubaocho Museum & Performing Arts Center, showcasing Cuban art and one of the largest collections of rum in Florida.
You'll enjoy an authentic Cuban coffee paired with a pastelito, a traditional sandwich of toasted guava and cheese, along with guarapo, a drink made from sugarcane juice.
Continuing, we'll stop at a Cuban cigar shop to learn about the cigar-making process and then visit Domino Park, where locals play dominoes.
