Why Visit the Miami Museum of Science?
The Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science, also known as the Miami Museum of Science, is located in Maurice A. Ferré Park, along Biscayne Bay. This complex consists of four buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, the North Wing, and the West Wing.
The North Wing and West Wing feature six floors of exhibitions covering the biodiversity of the Everglades ecosystems and advancements in aerospatial science.
The Frost Planetarium accommodates 250 spectators and offers immersive 3D experiences with surround sound, including space journeys, coral reef dives, and DNA explorations.
The Aquarium comprises three levels. The first level, The Vista, showcases Florida's ecosystems and the Gulf Stream, featuring devil rays and hammerhead sharks. The second level, The Dive, explores underwater species, while the last level, The Deep, exhibits jellyfish and other deep-sea marine life.
