Why Visit the Miami Museum of Science?
The Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science is a key interactive exhibition site in Florida, located in Maurice A. Ferré Park on Biscayne Bay. The complex consists of four buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, the North Wing, and the West Wing.
The North Wing and West Wing feature six floors displaying the biodiversity of the Everglades ecosystems, innovations in aerospatial science, and various interactive exhibitions.
In the Frost Planetarium, which accommodates 250 spectators, guests can experience large-scale immersive 3D shows, including journeys through space, vibrant coral reefs, and DNA chains.
The Aquarium includes three levels: The Vista focuses on southern Florida ecosystems, featuring species like devil rays and hammerhead sharks; The Dive showcases deep-sea species; and The Deep presents jellyfish and other deep Gulf Stream inhabitants.
Opening Times
The Miami Museum of Science is open Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, and visitors can arrive anytime during these hours.
