Your hotel pickup will take you to Villa Vizcaya, the winter residence of collector James Deering, inspired by luxurious Italian villas. Located in the exclusive Vizcaya Bay, Deering relocated here for a therapeutic climate recommended by his doctors due to his anemia.
At the museum, you will learn about Miami's history as it evolved into a major city in the 1920s, including how the wealthy established luxury homes modeled after European palaces. You will also explore the orchid-filled gardens and enjoy views from the pier.
