Coyoacán & Xochimilco Small Group Tour

Discover the legacy of Frida Kahlo in the historic neighborhood of Coyoacán and go on a traditional trajinera ride in Xochimilco on this small group tour of Mexico City.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City for a small group tour of up to 10 people. The tour starts in Roma, known for its variety of restaurants and cultural spots.

Next, we visit Condesa to observe tree-lined avenues and notable mansions. We will then proceed to Plaza Mexico, the largest bullring in Mexico, seating over 40,000 people.

In Coyoacán, we will explore the Church of San Juan Bautista and the fountain of the Coyotes, followed by a walk through its cobblestone streets. We will also see the Frida Kahlo House-Museum, or La Casa Azul, discussing Frida Kahlo's legacy.

Continuing to Ciudad Universitaria, we'll check out the Rectorate Tower and Central Library, where a mural by Juan O'Gorman is displayed, as well as the mural in the Olympic University Stadium by Diego Rivera.

The tour then takes us to Xochimilco for a relaxing trajinera ride along the canals.

After the trajinera ride, we'll return to your hotel in Mexico City, approximately 8 hours after pickup.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the following areas: historic center, Polanco, and Zona Rosa. If your hotel is outside these areas, we will meet at the Hotel Emporio Reforma.
