Guided Tour of Mexico City
We'll meet at the flagpole at the main entrance of the National Anthropological Museum in Chapultepec Forest. The visit to the continent's largest museum will reveal the pre-Hispanic origins of Mexico, including the Sun Stone, or Aztec calendar.
Next, we will use public transportation to the historic center of Mexico City to explore the blend of indigenous and Spanish cultures displayed in the streets and buildings.
We’ll stroll through Alameda Park, the oldest urban park in the Americas, and visit iconic structures such as the Palace of Fine Arts, Palacio de Correos, Palace of Iturbide, and Casa de los Azulejos (House of Tiles).
Our next stop is the Templo Mayor Museum, where we will explore pre-Hispanic and colonial Mexico, observing archaeological remains such as the monoliths of Coyolxauhtli and Tlaltecuhtli and the Huey Tzompantli altar.
The tour concludes near the Plaza de la Constitución after approximately 4.5 hours.
