The Astronomical Observatory of Brera is a significant historical building in the Milanese scientific community, used for studying the Universe since the 18th century. It currently houses the Astronomical Museum of Brera, featuring numerous astronomy-related objects vital to various discoveries. It was here that discussions about the Mars canals began, first identified by astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli in 1877.
