Guided Tour of Castello Sforzesco
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Filarete Tower and proceed to Castello Sforzesco. The tour starts with an exterior view of the 14th-century fort, which later became a ducal palace and was transformed by the Sforza family into an impressive fort.
Once inside the castle, we will learn about significant events in its history, including the Milanese dispute over the castle, Napoleon’s order to demolish it, and its role during World War II.
We will explore the contributions of renowned artists like Leonardo Da Vinci and Bramante. Highlights include the Rondanini Pietà, Michelangelo's unfinished last work.
The guided tour lasts 1.5 hours and concludes in the Castello Sforzesco area, covering various halls and rooms of this Milanese landmark.
