At the designated time, we'll meet at the Filarete Tower before heading to the Castello Sforzesco. The tour begins with an exterior view of this 14th-century fort that became a ducal palace and was transformed by the Sforza family into one of Italy's notable forts.
Inside the castle, we will discuss significant events such as the Milanese dispute over the castle, Napoleon’s order to demolish it, and its role during World War II.
We'll follow the legacy of prominent artists, including Leonardo Da Vinci and Bramante. A notable highlight is the Rondanini Pietà, the unfinished last work of Michelangelo.
