Interlaken & Swiss Alps Green Train Tour

We'll meet at the scheduled time at Piazza Duca D'Aosta to take a bus to northern Italy.

Leaving Lombardy, we will arrive in Domodossola. In this town, we will board the Trenino Verde, or the Green Train of the Alps, for a scenic two-hour train ride through the Simplon mountain pass at an altitude of 2008 metres.

After entering the Swiss alpine landscapes, we will disembark at the alpine village of Spiez. You will have time for lunch and to taste local Swiss specialities. Following this, we will regroup for a boat trip on Lake Thun to Interlaken.

During the cruise on Lake Thun, we will admire the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. Upon arrival in Interlaken, you will have free time to explore its historic centre and visit local chocolate shops.

In the afternoon, we will meet again in Interlaken to take the Green Train back to Domodossola. From Domodossola, we will return to Milan by bus, with an estimated arrival at the original meeting point approximately 11 hours after the start time.
