On this excursion from Milan, we will explore the Lake District at the foothills of the Italian Alps, with options for a cruise to Bellagio or a funicular up to Brunate, depending on the season.

Description

We will depart from the center of Milan by bus heading north towards the Alps, reaching the historic center of Como after a 1-hour drive. Here, we will view the Como Cathedral, noted for its turquoise-blue domes.

Next, we will proceed by either boarding a boat to traverse Lake Como or taking a stroll along the harbor, offering views of the lake and, if clear, the Swiss alpine mountains.

Afterwards, we will either ascend to Brunate by funicular, providing vistas of Como and the western Alps, or visit Bellagio by boat, recognized for its beauty and artistic inspiration. In both scenarios, participants will have free time to explore at their leisure.

After our time in either Brunate or Bellagio, we will return by bus to the original meeting point in Milan, concluding the tour.
