On this excursion from Milan, we'll visit Lake Como, one of the most remarkable landscapes of northern Italy, and cross the border with Switzerland to Lugano.

Lake Como & Lugano Excursion

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the chosen meeting point in Milan and board a bus to our first destination: Lake Como. After an hour's drive, we'll arrive in the historic center of Como. You will have free time to explore the streets and visit main attractions such as the Como Cathedral and its pier.

Next, we'll embark on a boat for a one-hour cruise on Lake Como, enjoying views that may include the Swiss Alps on a clear day. We will sail near the renowned Villa d'Este, a luxury hotel in Cernobbio surrounded by gardens.

After returning to Como, we'll board the bus and travel to Lugano, where you will have free time for lunch and to explore the city’s highlights, including Via Nassa, Casinò Lugano, the Cathedral, and Piazza Riforma.

Finally, we'll take a train back to Milan, completing a total of 9 hours for this excursion.
