The Last Supper. You've seen pictures, reproductions, and parodies. Leonardo's masterpiece is essential for any visitor to Milan.
Last Supper Tour
This tour includes a visit to the Dominican church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a 15th-century convent and UNESCO World Heritage Site. In its refectory, Leonardo Da Vinci painted one of the most recognized works during the 1490s, commissioned by Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan.
The tour features the Santa Maria delle Grazie, showcasing Renaissance architecture, as well as Bramante's Cloister, known for its serene beauty. You will also have the opportunity to admire The Last Supper.
Having survived nearly 500 years and the bombings during World War II, The Last Supper is currently in a fragile state. It was deemed "ruined" by Leonardo's biographer, Giorgio Vasari, only sixty years after its completion. Restoration efforts have helped recover some of its glory, but access to the original is limited. The reservation ensures guaranteed entry without waiting in line, providing a unique chance to view this iconic artwork.
An expert guide will accompany you throughout the tour, sharing anecdotes about the painting, its creation, and its historical significance.
