This excursion from Milan to Venice and Verona offers an excellent opportunity to appreciate Piazza San Marco and explore the enchanting city where Romeo and Juliet lived!

Day Trip Overview

We will convene at the designated time at the terrace of the Hotel Excelsior Galia, where we will board a train that will transport us through Lombardy to the renowned City of Canals.

Upon our arrival, we will wander through the historic center of Venice, taking in notable sites such as St. Mark's Square, the Basilica, and the Bridge of Sighs. While we admire the picturesque streets and waterways of this northern Italian gem, informative insights about the history of key locations will be shared.

After concluding our guided walk, you will enjoy some free time to further explore Venice at your own pace. Once we regroup, we will set off for our next stop, Verona, the city that inspired the love story of Romeo and Juliet in Shakespeare's play.

We will stroll through Verona, situated along the Adige River, crossing the Scaligero Bridge to take in the views of the Castellvechio. This impressive medieval fortress harks back to the Golden Age of Verona.

In the early afternoon, we will board the train back to Milan, concluding our journey after approximately 13.5 hours together.
