This train trip to Venice and Verona from Milan is a plan for visiting Piazza San Marco and exploring Romeo and Juliet's city.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the terrace of the Hotel Excelsior Galia, where we'll board a train to the City of Canals.

Upon arrival, we will walk through the historic centre of Venice, seeing highlights such as St. Mark's Square, the Basilica, and the Bridge of Sighs. Brief explanations about the history of these places will be provided as we explore the streets and canals.

After the walking tour, you will have free time to explore Venice at your leisure. Once we reconvene, we will proceed to Verona, the setting for Romeo and Juliet.

We will walk through Verona, crossing the Scaligero Bridge to admire Castellvechio, a medieval fortress from Verona's Golden Age.

In the early afternoon, we will return to Milan by train, concluding our trip after approximately 13.5 hours together.
