Lipari & Vulcano Excursion

Travel by boat to the volcanic islands of Vulcano and Lipari on this excursion from Milazzo. At your own pace, you'll enjoy an extraordinary landscape declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Description

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet on Via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo and head together to the port of Milazzo, where our boat will be waiting for us. All aboard!

Over the course of an hour, we'll sail across the sea and admire the beauty of the Aeolian archipelago. These islands, studied by scientists since the 18th century, feature volcanoes, some still active, creating a spectacular landscape in the middle of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

We'll sail towards Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands. After passing its famous Faraglioni, we will dock at the port, allowing you two and a half hours to explore the island. Cozy bays with clear waters and a historic center await you, including the Norman cathedral and the castle!

After Lipari, we'll head to Vulcano, admiring views of the Grotta degli Angeli, Scoglio della Mummia, and Scoglio di Papa Giovanni along the way. On Vulcano, you will have two and a half hours of free time to enjoy activities such as swimming at its black sand beaches, exploring vineyards, or visiting the Venus Pool, Grotta del Cavallo, and Scoglio del Leone.

The excursion will conclude with our arrival back in Milazzo, eight hours after departure.
