Explore the stunning Aeolian Islands on this excursion to Stromboli and Panarea. Experience the charm of their quaint fishing villages and witness a breathtaking natural phenomenon: a volcanic eruption!

Details of the Day Trip

At the scheduled hour, we will convene on Via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo. From there, we will proceed to the dock and embark on a boat that will transport us to the island of Panarea.

We'll set sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea towards Lipari, where we’ll enjoy a short stop of approximately 10 minutes on Wednesdays. Our journey continues to Panarea, the second-smallest island in the Aeolian archipelago. As we approach, the stunning views of Cala Junco, one of its most iconic beaches, will greet us. Here, you can find the remnants of an ancient settlement that traces back to the 14th century BC.

Upon arrival at the fishing port, you’ll have 2.5 hours of leisure time to wander and savor the local culinary delights. After exploring, we will board the boat again and set sail northwards towards Stromboli, taking in sights of the island's majestic volcano and smaller islets such as Basiluzzo, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, and Bottaro along our path.

Once we arrive in Stromboli, you’ll have an additional 2 hours to explore this picturesque village. You can meander through the delightful alleys of the coastal area, visiting its chapels and churches. Make your way to Piazza San Vincenzo for a viewpoint offering spectacular views of Stromboli along with the nearby islet of Strombolicchio.

To conclude our adventure, we will return to the vessel for the journey back, making a stop of around 40 minutes at sea to witness a remarkable moment: the active eruption of the Stromboli volcano. This mesmerizing display is particularly enchanting as dusk falls!

We will wrap up our day of exploration with our return to the port of Milazzo, completing approximately 10 hours of sightseeing.

Essential Information

Should Stromboli be classified within a red zone owing to a volcanic activity alert, preventing disembarkation on the island, we will adjust the schedule in favor of your safety.
