Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea & explore three of the most famous Aeolian Islands with this day trip from Milazzo. Vulcano, Stromboli & Panarea await!
Day Trip Details
Meet at Via Cavour 45 minutes before departure and head to the Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo where a boat will take us on the trip. We'll sail to the Aeolian Islands archipelago, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
In Vulcano, enjoy two hours of free time to explore. Hike the Gran Cratere della Fossa or take a mud bath in Porto di Levante.
Next, we will sail to Panarea, the smallest of the islands, and you will have two and a half hours for lunch and leisure. Visit Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco, popular beaches.
The final stop is in Stromboli. You will have two hours to visit Piazza San Vincenzo for panoramic views. At sunset, we will return to the boat to witness lava erupting from the hills of Stromboli.
The day trip concludes after about 11 hours with our return to the Port of Milazzo.
Itinerary Changes
From July 24 to September 30, 2024, the itinerary will change: the first stop will be Lipari for 3 hours, followed by a 3-hour stop at Vulcano. Then we will view landscapes from the Panarea Sea before heading to Stromboli for a sighting of the volcano's eruption from the sea.
Important Info
If Stromboli is under a volcanic activity alert resulting in a disembarkation ban, the trip will be adjusted for safety. This will include a longer stop at Panarea and a panoramic tour from the sea to admire Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
