Vulcano, Stromboli & Panaera Day Trip

Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea & explore three of the most famous Aeolian Islands with this day trip from Milazzo. Vulcano, Stromboli & Panarea await!

Day Trip Details

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Via Cavour, and head to the Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo where a boat awaits to take us on an exciting day trip.

We'll set sail for the Aeolian Islands archipelago, a volcanic site protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Docking in Vulcano, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the island. You can hike along the Gran Cratere della Fossa or take a mud bath in Porto di Levante.

Next, we will sail to Panarea, where you'll have two and a half hours for lunch and leisure. Visit Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco, notable beaches of Panarea.

The last stop will be in Stromboli, providing two hours of free time. We suggest visiting Piazza San Vincenzo for scenic views of the sea and the island coast.

At sunset, we will return to the boat and witness lava gushing from Stromboli's hills. This sight will be memorable.

After about 11 hours, the day trip will end with our arrival back at the Port of Milazzo.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that, between July 24 and September 30, 2024, the itinerary will change: first, we'll stop for 3 hours in Lipari, followed by a 3-hour stop at Vulcano. We will then view the landscapes of Baja di Calajunco, Dattilo, Bottaro, and Lisca Bianca from the sea. The route will continue toward Stromboli, where we will observe its eruptions from the sea before returning to Milazzo.

Important Info

If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, we will adjust the day trip for your safety. This includes a longer stop at Panarea and a panoramic tour of Stromboli from the sea, where we can admire Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
