Tour Details
We'll depart from the selected meeting point towards Pompeii. Upon arrival, we'll take a complete tour of the ruins, focusing on the events of 79 AD, specifically August 24, when Emperor Titus learned of Vesuvius's eruption affecting Stabiae, Herculaneum, and Pompeii.
The tour will cover the remains buried under ash and pumice rock, including sites like the Roman baths, bakeries, the forum, the House of the Vetti, and the famous lupanar with frescoes of erotic scenes. We will also see recent discoveries like statues, skeletons, and tools used by the city's inhabitants.
After a 3-hour guided tour, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant, concluding with a return to the starting point after 10 hours of sightseeing.
