On this bike tour of Lima, we'll visit emblematic places such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and the Government Palace, exploring the colonial area's World Heritage Site designation.

This cycling route through central Lima covers iconic parts of the city, showcasing its architecture, including charming balconies. The route starts and ends in Miraflores, a popular district.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Avenida Arequipa to pick up bikes and helmets. The tour begins with a ride through palm trees while admiring colonial architecture.

Next, we'll head to Bosque El Olivar, an old hacienda with a protected area of 10 hectares (25 acres), to observe various bird species.

During the tour, we'll pass the National Stadium of Peru and the Lima Museum of Art (MALI). A stop at Plaza San Martín Square will allow us to learn about its historical significance.

We'll explore the picturesque streets of Jiron de la Union, Jiron Ica, and Ucayali, known for Lima's famous balconies. The tour continues past the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, known for its catacombs.

The final stop will be at Plaza de Armas, home to the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Municipal Palace.

To conclude, we will enjoy a coffee or chocolate before returning to the starting point, completing a total of 4 hours.
