Itinerary
We will gather at the designated time on Avenida Arequipa, where you'll receive your bike and helmet. Our ride begins amidst the palm trees lining the avenue, allowing us to appreciate the colonial architecture that defines this region.
Our first destination is Bosque El Olivar, a historic hacienda from the viceroyalty period, encompassing a protected area of 10 hectares (25 acres). Here, you can observe various bird species in their natural environment.
As we continue our journey, we'll pass by the National Stadium of Peru and the Lima Museum of Art, referred to as MALI. A stop at Plaza San Martín Square will allow us to delve into the history of this quintessential public space.
We’ll then navigate the picturesque streets of Jiron de la Union, Jiron Ica, and Ucayali, admiring the iconic balconies of Lima. Our route leads us past the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, renowned for its fascinating catacombs!
The final highlight of our tour is the Plaza de Armas, where the Government Palace, Cathedral, and Municipal Palace await your exploration.
To conclude our excursion, we’ll relax over a coffee or some chocolate before returning to our starting point, completing a total of four enriching hours.
