When booking, you can choose between two options for a gastronomic tour of Lima. Both include tastings and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can find the details of each tour:

Tour of the historic centre of Lima

In the morning, we'll meet in the district of Miraflores next to the Cafeteria Terrua, where our food tour will begin. We will discuss the role of coffee in Peruvian society and its history. Following a coffee tasting, we'll take the metro to the historic centre, stopping first at the Central Market and Chinatown for tastings that fuse Chinese and Peruvian cuisine, along with traditional desserts and "chicha morada", a drink made from purple corn.

Next, we'll visit iconic sites such as the Palacio de Congresos or San Francisco Church, and then proceed to Taberna Cordano for traditional Peruvian churros and stuffed potato, pairing them with Pisco Sour.

We'll conclude the tour by returning you to the Miraflores neighbourhood.

Miraflores & Surquillo Tour

We'll meet in the morning at Cafeteria Terrua in Miraflores to start our food tour with a coffee tasting discussing its importance in Peru.

Afterward, we will visit the Surquillo Market to taste fruits like lucuma and other products. We’ll then proceed to a local pastry shop for dessert tastings made from market ingredients.

Later, we will go to La Preferida for Peruvian ceviche and tapas made from seafood and other traditional items, paired with a typical Peruvian drink.

Finally, we'll visit a local café for a churro tasting to end the gastronomic tour.
