When booking, you can choose between the following options for a gastronomic tour of Lima. Both include tastings and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can find the details of each tour:

Tour of the historic centre of Lima

In the morning, we will meet in the district of Miraflores next to Cafeteria Terrua, where our food tour will begin. We will discuss the role of coffee in Peruvian society and its history. Participants will enjoy a coffee tasting before taking the metro to the historic centre of Lima. Our first stop will be the Central Market and Chinatown, where we will taste recipes that fuse Chinese and Peruvian cuisine and traditional desserts including "chicha morada," made from purple corn.

Afterwards, we will visit iconic places like the Palacio de Congresos and the San Francisco Church. Nearby, at Taberna Cordano, we will taste Peruvian churros and stuffed potato, accompanied by Pisco Sour.

We will conclude our food tour by returning to the Miraflores neighbourhood.

Miraflores & Surquillo Tour

We will meet in the morning at Cafeteria Terrua in Miraflores. The tour will begin with a coffee tasting and an explanation of its importance in Peru.

Next, we will head to the Surquillo Market to taste Peruvian fruits such as lucuma and other traditional products. Following this, we will visit a local pastry shop for desserts made from ingredients seen at the market.

Later, we will go to La Preferida for Peruvian ceviche. Participants can enjoy tapas made from seafood and a typical Peruvian drink.

To conclude the tour, we will stop at a local café for a churro tasting.
