Cliffs, gorges, eagles and more surprises await you on this cruise around Arribes del Douro, a unique natural enclave just a few kilometres away from Miranda de Douro.

Cruise Details

The tour will meet at the chosen time at the Douro International Biological Station pier, near Miranda de Douro. We'll depart aboard a boat to explore the viewpoints and waterfalls of this natural park.

The boat's crew will explain the geographical features of the canyon. We will see the Líquenes Cliffs and proceed to the "Otter Pond" to learn about the local flora.

We will navigate through the eagle territory, as well as that of the black stork, notable species in the area. There is a chance to observe these birds in their natural habitat.

The tour concludes at Eagle Valley, a prominent viewpoint in the Arribes del Douro park. You will have the chance to take photos from the boat's terrace on the return journey.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes on the water, we will return to land for a 30-minute tasting of Porto's wines, providing a fitting end to the day.
