Cliffs, gorges, eagles and more surprises await you on this cruise around Arribes del Douro, a unique natural enclave just a few kilometres away from Miranda de Douro.

Cruise Details

The tour will meet at the chosen time at the Douro International Biological Station pier, near the Portuguese town of Miranda de Douro. From here, we set off aboard the boat to explore the viewpoints and waterfalls of the natural park.

During the cruise, the crew will explain the geographical characteristics of the canyon. We'll pass by the Líquenes Cliffs, the entry point to the national park, and visit the "Otter Pond" for an introduction to the local flora.

We'll sail through the territory of the eagle and the black stork, two notable bird species in the area, with hopes of spotting them along the way.

The tour concludes at Eagle Valley, one of the best viewpoints in the Arribes del Douro park. You will have the opportunity to take to the boat's terrace for photographs as we return to the starting point.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes of exploring, we'll return to dry land for a 30-minute tasting of Porto's wines, marking the end of the day in the Arribes del Douro.
