Pantanal 3-Day Tour

On this 3-day tour around Pantanal, you'll experience the daily life of local people through horseback riding, cattle herding, and learning their traditions.

Description

Day 1

At 2 pm, we will welcome you at the Hotel Pantanal for check-in. The evening is free for you to relax before we begin our activities the next day.

Day 2

The day starts with breakfast at 7:30 am. We will travel to the farm for a traditional breakfast featuring coffee, milk, cakes, and cheesy bread from a wood-burning oven. After learning about the farm's history and visiting the Agachi museum, we will meet the horses for the tour.

A cultural presentation will precede our hike on the Bacuris Trails, where we will stop to try tereré at the Açude do Jacaré. A Pantanal-style lunch will follow, including rice, beans, salad, and fish, after which you may rest briefly.

We will then herd cattle and learn about the local roles before practicing horse care techniques. Afterward, we'll enjoy refreshments and set up camp for the night, concluding with a Roda de Viola and a traditional Pantanal roast.

Day 3

The final day begins at 5 am with a farm visit to observe cow milking. Breakfast includes Quebra Torto, a traditional dish. We will learn about local instruments, followed by horseback riding along the trails and a truck-drawn cart tour to see the flora and fauna.

A fish-based lunch will replace the final meal, and we will conclude the tour by 4:30 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 night at the Hotel Pantanal and 1 night at a campsite, with options for hammocks or 2-person camping tents, including mattresses and bed sheets.
